Living History Live Theatre Performance as part of Guided Tour.
Discover Dalkey....a stroll through the centuries! Have you ever wondered what it would be like to travel back in time? Wouldn't it be a relief to escape the trials of this dreary age and spend an hour or two in less stressful times? Wouldn't it be just out-of-this-world to step into a time-machine and land in medieval or Tudor Ireland (depending on the season)? In tandem with our friendly tour guides, actors from Deilg Inis Living History Company are on site all year round to enlighten, entertain and engage you. The actors bring life to history by bringing history to life. 'The Medieval Experience' runs from January to April. 'Meet the Tudors' runs daily from May to October. While in late November through December you can 'Have a Merry Medieval Christmas'. Later you can meander around the beautiful town of Dalkey or stroll to the coast where you can 'hear the centuries pass'.

The story evolved from a real life family story that featured in the ‘Irish Times’ and was later developed by Maeve into an award-winning short play. This is an ideal opportunity to marvel at Maeve’s empathy with her characters and witness her keen ear and magical way of telling a good human interest story. The play won a number of awards for television drama including the Jacobs Award and Best Script in the Prague Television Festival.
Flann O’Brien:Week Two

Michael James Ford from Bewley’s Café Theatre will direct his comedy ‘Village Wooing’ by GB Shaw on Monday 28thand Saturday June 2nd. (No show on Thursday 31st on account of the Referendum). Hugh Leonard
