Dublinia’s award-winning exhibition brings the history of medieval Dublin vividly to life. Dublinia presents detailed historical information in an enjoyable and entertaining setting. The exhibition focuses upon lifestyles and events taking place in and around the city of Dublin during the period 1170 to 1540. It also incorporates a National Museum of Ireland collection of Viking and Medieval artefacts from the Wood Quay excavations. The Viking World reveals the full story of the Vikings - from their origins in Scandinavia, their amazing impact on Western Europe, to Ireland’s place in the Viking legacy.
