Visit the new boutique Pearse Lyons Distillery, nestled in the heart of Dublin’s historic Liberties. Whether you are an intrepid whiskey enthusiast, culturally curious or just an inquisitive Dubliner intent on learning more about your hometown, you are sure to enjoy a journey through 800 years of history. Discover fascinating stories, compelling characters and, of course, their signature Pearse Irish Whiskey at Dublin’s only boutique distillery.
From past to present, their local storyteller will regale the history and culture of the Liberties Dublin. Each tour will take in St. James’ Cemetery, which is over 800 years old. Here you will learn more about the characters who once graced the streets of Dublin. Your local storyteller will regale the history and heritage of the former St. James’ Church as it stood proudly through times of reformation, retribution and finally restoration. The former church was once the starting point for many Irish pilgrims on their way to begin The Camino De Santiago.
Once inside the church, now distillery, visitors will meet the distiller who will guide them through the Irish Whiskey distilling process from start to finish. Smell, touch and taste the different stages of whiskey distilling. Learn more about the traditional methods of pot still whiskey and finally enjoy a tasting of three signature Pearse Irish Whiskeys at their tasting bar, Pearse’s Place.

Pearse Lyons Distillery is located on The Dubline, which runs from College Green to Kilmainham Gaol. Standing tall on James’s Street, Dublin 8, the distillery is only a five-minute walk from the Guinness Storehouse, just look for the glass spire in the skyline.
Pearse Lyons Distillery is a 15-minute walk from Grafton Street in the City Centre. The nearest Luas stop is James's on the Red Line, and it is approximately a 5 minute walk to the Distillery.
