We've reported on this, and positive members feedback, in our May activities report, which covered May and also early June!
It was a wonderful show, well attended and the concensus of the members who participated on the stand was than we should participate again in 2017.
As many tour operators are beginning to focus in on their 2017 programmes, we'll be upping our communication to them and reminding them that our members provide brilliant experiences and programming options. Our communications will include a special-edition E-zine.
Our Travel Trade Manual 2016/2017 and our high-speed website are two key resources they can use.
We'll also be advising them of a new Tour Operator Partnership Programme which will bring about increased collaboration and which will benefit our members.

As you know, Heritage Island will again be hosting a stand at the Dublin Horse Show in the Main Hall, July 20 - 24. It is FREE to members. The time slots are already filling up and thanks to everyone who has expressed interest in joining us to-date. If you wish to attend, please email us as soon as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org. Spaces are allocated on first to sign-up basis.
Some members have expressed an interest in taking part, for one day, on a Heritage Island booth on the Ireland Stand at World Travel Market 2016. The show, which is on from November 7 - 9, is the world's best Travel Trade Show. It attracts more than 50,000 travel industry professionals each year and generates over €3 billion of travel industry contracts.
If you are interested in a day at the show, can you let us know urgently and we will discuss it with you? There would be a cost, but it would be less expensive than if participating on your own - because two other members would share with you during that day. If there is sufficient interest we will book space.
If you email us your Summer Events, News, New Photo Images or Videos we will use them online (on our high speed website) and through special promotions. We will be very active in our communications with the travel trade too, so make sure to keep us up-to-date!
We've been asked by a lot of members... what the season is like for other members? We are trialing new research software called 'Get Feedback' and are going to send you, initially, a simple 3 question survey on the State of the Season year-to-date.
This will serve a few purposes. It introduces you to the new system, and you will see how simple it is to complete (and we'll share the findings, in a general way, with respondents).
AND, importantly, it will also allow us identify a contact within each attraction who will be the designated point of contact for further simple 'Feedback' and 'Flash' surveys.
Over the Summer months all 42 Heritage Island member attractions participating in this promotion should start to see these 2 for 1 co-branded Keelings Fruit and Heritage Island co-branded vouchers coming through their admissions. We would advise you to have a system for recording these vouchers as we will be in touch with you after the promotion finishes to assess how successful this was for you.
